Unlike slip rings with sliding contacts or rotary connectors with mercury contacts, which can absorb infinite rotation, this is a cable with a twist absorption structure that poses no noise concerns and is compliant with RoHS. Other structures with the same functionality are known, but they place less burden on the cable and do not require the cable to be flat. Multiple cables or hoses can be set simultaneously.
